If any of you have never tried boogie boarding, do so at the earliest possible opportunity. On Sunday (family beach day) we went to a beach where the surfer and boogie-boarder community hangs out. Brittany and I tried boogie boarding...that's where I met what I like to cal "The Wave". The Wave picked up my boad and stormed me all the way to shore. It was one of the biggest rushes I have ever felt in my life people...I was half afraid the waves would wipe me out, but at the same time I wanted to keep riding it forever, carving a path straight to shore. It was very, very sweet.
MKs do very random things. Let me explain. On Tuesday our fuse box broke...so we had no power. I decided that since I probably wasn't going to sleep anyway I would stay up and amuse myself till I got so tired I didn't care how hot it was. So I went downstairs to make rooibos (one of my many different kinds of teas...actually it's probably the best, it's red and from South Africa) and Brittany followed me. Somehow her, Emma and I all ended up in my corner of the bedroom toasting bread with chocolecca over the candle. Then I decided to melt cheese in a spoon over the flame. I think it was the best idea I've had all week. The cheese started to melt and then sizzle. The spoon ws like a mini-frying pan! I actually didn't stay up then because I had had my fun, and yes I admit it was just as much fun as anything I would have done by myself. (But Brit you will never know what I would have done by myself haha)
What else? Oh yes, Miss Pater is here and has brought a whole bunch of goodies from Holland. It is going to be very cool having her here for a week.
Now time for some random pictures:

This is me.
