Last night was an African adventure. Us Canadian cousins and some visiting Chinese-Canadian friends went out for ice cream. A couple of us went to the bakery across the street when we had finished our ice cream and we smuggled eclares and street coffee back into the ice cream shop. Then we snuck out the back door. Renegades lol. We went to a service station in search of pop and stumbled across a drunk guy in the doorway of a little boutique in a gas station. It contained a cooler of pop and auto fuel stuff. We sat on weird cushions while Em and Alan drank their cokes, laughing at the two guys whose meeting we disturbed- they were watching us with very amused expressions. We went to D.A., talked to people, fooled around on big blue mats and then went home. Very unproductive, fun night.
However, today I'm feeling very tired and lazy. I was going to get up early to go to the Paris-Dakar rally, but seeing how I feel now after doing almost nothing all day, that probably wouldn't have been a good idea...Although I am a morning person so it might have been ok. Anyway, I hope I feel more energetic tomorrow because I will be starting my new job at SIL supervising some kids. I have A.P. Lit homework now so I had better get at it. Ugh, I feel so unmotivated. "Lack of discipline produces lack of motivation."-says me. I wish I would listen to my own quotes some times.
My cousin Valerie is coming in mid-April when we get back from Kenya. Yeah, someone my age who isn't going to be in school! :) I am a loner sometimes, but sometimes it can be a bit much. At least for a few weeks I'll have a job. So excited!!! Praise God, He does provide!!! :)
