The sunset at the beach on Saturday was amazing. Actually the whole day was awesome. I got some really good pics, I'll send some to my T-dot people when I get them developed and scanned (yes I still prefer film to digital).
The "Turkey Bowl" (American Thanksgiving thingy) is this week. I am on one of the girl's football teams. I hope I remember how to play...Haha whatever, it's just for fun anyway.
My verse of the week:
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things." Phillipians 4:8
Have to admit that my thoughts don't always fit that list...but I think God knows we are humans..."He remembers that we are dust"... so the important thing is that we try I guess.
Stayed up till 1 am last night watching "The Net" with Sandra Bullock. If it's a thriller, it's not a very thrilling one but it was ok.
It's very different being in a place where no one really knows me yet...not that I think very many people will ever really know me like my two "sisters", but at least at PCA we had all been through things together that made us understand each other pretty well. I wonder if God will bring a friend into my life here that I can open up with. Megan trusting someone new...hmm...that would definately take a work of God's hand. Do you uni people have that feeling too? Or do you guys have friends that know you pretty well now?
