7 year old boys never stop! I can't make Jesse tired! It's crazy. My parents have been away since yesterday morning for their anniversary. Finally I can take a break. I played soccer yesterday with Jess- Beth was the goalie :). I'm trying to make Jess a hardcore soccer player so he can be on the Dakar Academy team in a few years...I missed out on being in the girls team that cuz I was here in Toronto. We've been watching that show where Beckham teaches kids how to play soccer on TVO kids lol. Jess is pretty good...But then I think he's pretty good at all sports. This is the kid who threw a ball across his room from his crib. Haha.
Speaking of soccer, I haven't been checking out the WUSA stats, but I just did. Carolina Courage lost. Boo. Oh well...Maybe I should change my favourite team lol.
Anyway, today is looking like it might be easier than yesterday. We had a picnic outside on the grass yesterday. It was a lot of work, especially because Emma can't help me much. She hurt her foot and it's swollen up and bruised purple. Not pretty, and very painful. She's going to have to go to the doctor when my parents get back. Pray for her please!
I'm getting nervous about tomorrow- fist day of church camp at FPPC. I feel so unprepared! I haven't really been able to look over the material this weekend what with watching the kids. I guess I'll have to read like mad tonight when the parents get home...And plan what I'm going to do with the kids at activity time. I have the oldest group- the 10 and 11 year olds. I feel comfortable with them because that's kind of the age group I was with at OPC last summer. But wait...That was all girls. Oh no. Emma has the youngest group, so Jesse and Beth will be with her. Anyway, I have to go finish reading the Plan To Protect manual. Who knows when I'll next have time to blog :).
