Happy Birthday Amanda and John Glover!!!
Yearbook signing day was cool...brought back so many memories...still there were ppl I wanted to come that didn't. Sarah Niles, all the grade 12s of 2003...*sigh* I miss everyone. Our Senegal team is going its separate ways...except for a few of us who are clutching the last strings. I guess it just shows you which frienships really matter...the ones you don't have to harass to get together.
Thanksgiving weekend was awesome. Hung out at Laura's house w/ bunch of ppl watching an old N*Sync movie and a Johnny Depp movie. Good times. It's so different when all the stress of school is stripped away...you're cool with ppl you can get so annoyed w/ in school.
I got lots of sleep that weekend. It was a dream :). Turkey was good, but mom's pumkin pie and partridgeberry squares (Newfie dessert!) were the best. Then of course I had to work on History, WC, and blah blah blah.
Today in chapel I talked to a guy from Parole de Vie cuz I realized I'll never see these Bible school guys do their presentations again. So I talked to a Quebeqois named Gabriel who insisted on speaking English to me so he could practice. He told me alot about the mssions trips they go on to Haiti and northern Quebec, and other stuff. We talked about my French background, Senegal etc...He was very cool, although I coundn't always make out what he was saying. C'est la vie. Maybe I'll go there some day.
One more day of school till the music retreat! I can't wait to get out of this uniform and do something different other than the same old same old. Today is English test, tomorrow History. Dieu, donne moi la patience.
That's all for now. Sorry for the random French phrases, I gotta practice for Senegal :).
