So lots of things have been happening lately, but my brain is so tired I can't think what to write. Dakar Academy alumni have started arriving for grad and some of them are old friends. I hung out with Kara today and we talked for so long. It's great how you can connect so well and feel so comfortable with people you haven't seen in ages. I'm getting good at that. With all the things about us that have changed, we can still talk on a deeper level and get along like we've been together all these years. Must be a God-thing.
I'm getting so pumped for university...but then I realize that I have to make it through the summer first. Hope I get a job...although it's not as crucial because I GOT THE SOCIAL JUSTICE AND PEACE SCHOLARSHIP!!!! Four years tuition and fees! All I have to do is keep my average 75 or higher, still be involved with social justic and peace activities (which is my passion anyway) and be on the Social Justice and Peace committee. Praise God for bailing us out when we're freaking out. Haha
Tomorrow is the youth group retreat. I'm super excited, but I feel bad that the alumni don't get to go. Except for me, but I've been going to youth group all year. I can't wait to sleep on the beach under the stars again.
Love to all, be home in one month!
Note- please ignore any spelling errors. I may be a writer, but my spelling is very unique for some things. I call it independance...don't ask what my mom calls it :)
